We got ourselves this and that for an early Valentine's Day because stars are so romantic.  Despite what those links say, we didn't spend $390 on them.  The Backpack Observatory was $50 and the 70AZ-A was $25.  We've never had telescopes left after Christmas before.  Fortunately I noticed them today and we got the last one of both of them.

I haven't posted in forever!

Valentine's Day was good.  Bryce took it off and we stayed in all day.  Lots of fun.  I got Bryce Writing for Animation, Comics, and Video Games because it was the only thing on his Amazon wish list, so I figured he really wanted it.  He forgot he even put anything on a wish list, but was thankful just the same.

Yesterday was very good. I had to work, but I spent the entire day blowing up balloons. They were mostly the mylar Valentine's Day balloons, but I did have to do a couple of large orders for latex. Someone wanted 24 latex balloons so her sons could attach notes to their father, who died in October, and release them. I hope all went well with ( Read more... )

So, I had a nice birthday today. I baked myself a lemon castle cake, which I decorated with strange pastel icing I had left after making some Young Women's cupcakes a couple of weeks ago. But it worked.

We celebrated my birthday with my parents and Grandma today. We brought Cranium's Conga to play and The Corpse Bride to watch. I think a good time was had by all. We watched volume three of Ah! My Goddess! while putting that stupid Bowflex together. We only got through the first four steps of the bowflex last night, but AMG was great. Mara so freakin rocks.
